Grown at high altitudes in the Nyeri region, Kenya. Washed processing for a clean and bright profile. In the cup: lemon pie, biscuit, dark chocolate, and red grape. Nyeri County is renowned for its significant contribution to Kenya's coffee production, distinguishing itself among other coffee-producing regions. This picturesque area is nestled between the majestic Mount Kenya and the Aberdare mountain range, just east of the Rift Valley. Nyeri's climatic conditions and natural characteristics create an ideal environment for coffee cultivation. The region boasts rich red volcanic soils, abundant rainfall, and mild yet warm temperatures, all essential elements for producing high-quality coffee. As harvest season approaches, coffee producers in Nyeri County adopt an organic approach, hand-picking only ripe cherries.
