This washed geisha is a delicate, refined and mild coffee from a prestigious terroir. About Acacia Hills: The Acacia Hills farm run by Leon and Aideen has been renowned for producing some of Tanzania's finest specialty coffees for many years. Our roasting manager, Thomas, visited them last September to taste and select their new crop. Located in northern Tanzania, in the Arusha region, more precisely at Oldeani in the Karatu district, it is perched on the slopes of Mount Oldeani, close to the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National Park. This location offers ideal conditions for growing specialty coffee, thanks to a high altitude varying between 1,800 and 1,925 meters above sea level.
