Finca Patio Bonito is a hardworking family farm in Caldono, Cauca. The owner has been growing coffee for almost 50 years and is helped on the farm by his daughter Paola, who played a special role in improving the coffee fermentation process for Carlos. The total area of the farm is 11 hectares, of which 9 hectares are coffee, or 47,000 coffee trees of 13 varieties, including exotic ones such as Pink Bourbon, Gesha, SL-28, Red Bourbon, Java, Sidra, Pacamara, Laurina, and Wush Wush. The Trujillo family is passionate about quality and pays attention to detail in every aspect of the farm's operations. The farm's mission is to "provide farmers and students with alternative methods and training on the management, conservation, and research of natural resources and the environment," and the family's philosophy is: "The best legacy we can leave our children is love, knowledge, and a planet to live on."
