When he was 14, German’s father sold the plantation and bought an empty lot at a higher altitude. They had no housing on the land, so German’s family slept in a tent while they were developing the new lot, now known as Finca El Roblar. From an empty lot to a blossoming farm, German has produced stunning coffees over the years. This particular Pink Bourbon won him the 4th place Copa de Oro award. Variety Pink Bourbon is a variety primarily grown in Huila, Colombia, and while newer, it has quickly grown in popularity for its bright, sweet, and aromatic profiles. It is now known to be an Ethiopian Landrace variety.
