About the farm Nyeri's unique environmental conditions provide the perfect ecosystem for coffee cultivation. The region experiences distinct wet and dry seasons, creating ideal conditions for the coffee plants to thrive. Additionally, the volcanic soil in Nyeri is rich in nutrients, imparting distinct flavors and characteristics to the coffee beans. Uklili has nothing to do with ukulele. Instead, the idea is taken from "Kiswahili", one of the most spoken languages in Africa, and the other official language is English. The original text of Uklili in Kiswahili is nyeusi malkia, which means black queen. This symbolises Kenya's unique status in the specialty coffee world of classic vibrant note of blackcurrant.
