Colombia Los Angeles
Tasting Notes
Description
Carefully cultivated in the Finca Los Ángeles, located in the Huila region of Colombia, this washed coffee best expresses the elegance of the Andean terroirs. In the cup, it offers a sweet complexity with refined notes of chestnut, honey, and green apple, which blend into a balanced and bright sensory profile. Maria Bercelia and her husband, José Vianey Erazo, originally from Nariño and Putumayo, Colombia, raised three children while displaced by the violence of the FARC in 1999. After several moves, they settled in Pitalito, Huila. In 2010, they purchased Finca Los Ángeles and, with the support of the National Federation of Coffee Growers (FNC), began producing high-quality coffee. Today, the Erazo Martínez family carefully cultivates varieties such as Pink Bourbon, Geisha, Caturra, and Castillo, dedicating themselves to specialty coffee with passion.
