Description
Negusse Debela established the Danche Processing Station in 2019. Impressively, after transitioning from a computer company to the coffee business, he quickly positioned himself as one of Ethiopia's top specialty exporters. The company operates three coffee washing and processing stations in Gedeo, Kochere, and Chelelektu, and it also partners with washing stations in Uraga (Guji) and Nensebo (West Arsi). Danche station, at high altitude, sources coffee from about 400 small farmers in three nearby areas, offering unique flavor profiles due to its shaded semi-forest environment. It enhances quality through perfect washing, natural processing, and experimental batches, contributing to Ethiopia's rich coffee biodiversity.
