Kalingwe
Description
Kalingwe is back and better than ever! With its bold body and delicate hints of nectarine, raspberry and camomile, this coffee is sure to keep you coming back for more. High in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, Kalingwe is home to a small community of 107 coffee farmers, organised into three groups. At altitudes reaching 2,000 meters, farmers hand-pick ripe red cherries, which are then transported to Agri Evolve’s processing station in Nyabirongo. There, the cherries are sun-dried on raised beds, showcasing the exceptional quality of naturally processed coffee from the Rwenzori region. For every kilo sold, 60p goes directly to the ACE2030 project, supporting vital initiatives in Uganda’s Rwenzori mountains.
