Maghrib Ans Alchemy
Tasting Notes
Description
In the high, rugged terrain of Maghreb Ans, ultra-smallholder farmers cultivate Yemenia coffee on terraces carved into steep mountain slopes. These landscapes, shaped over centuries, reflect both the ingenuity and resilience of the community. Despite water scarcity and dramatic climate variations, the region continues to produce coffees that speak to its deep agricultural heritage. For seven years, Qima Coffee has worked closely with Maghreb Ans farmers, supporting them to preserve traditions while improving quality and livelihoods. This Yemenia lot is processed using Qima’s Alchemy method, developed to protect the variety’s genetic heritage while unlocking exceptional complexity and vibrancy.
