Guanacaste
Tasting Notes
Description
#### History <p class="p1">This is our first year working with Guanacaste, a coffee sourced from the renowned Tarrazú region of Costa Rica. The name <em>Guanacaste</em> pays homage to Costa Rica’s national tree, symbolising strength, community, and deep roots, just like the producers behind this coffee. Coffee in Tarrazú is a family tradition. During the harvest, entire families come together to pick, sort, and process cherries, while maintaining the farms year-round. Guanacaste is a reflection of this collective effort and the region’s unique terroir.</p> <p class="p1">Guanacaste is a classic Round & Sweet coffee. Sweet, balanced and smooth, we experience flavours of almond and caramel with a light stone fruit acidity. Either to have on the espresso grinder to pair well with all your milk-based beverages, or shining by itself as black filter coffee. This is a crowd-pleasing coffee, aimed for everybody to enjoy.</p> <h4><b>Specifications</b></h4> <table> <thead> <tr> <td>country</td> <td>costa rica</td> </tr> <tr> <td>region</td> <td>tarrazú</td> </tr> <tr> <td>producer</td> <td>juanachute and nace coffee micromills</td> </tr> <tr> <td>variety</td> <td>catuai, caturra<br/> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>process</td> <td>washed</td> </tr> <tr> <td>altitude</td> <td>1500 masl</td> </tr> <tr> <td>tasting notes</td> <td>almond, caramel, stone fruit</td> </tr> </thead> </table> <p><br/> </p>
