Huke
Tasting Notes
Description
This elegant, fruit-forward coffee comes from Sidama, Ethiopia, where it was processed at Huke, a washing station founded by Faysel Yonis of Testi Coffee. Huke was built for quality – its high elevation and access to fresh water and exceptional, locally grown coffee cherries make it an ideal place to produce outstanding lots. At Huke, each delivery of coffee cherry is kept separate and processed with care, as part of Testi’s Premium Cherry Selection initiative. This program ensures the highest standards in cultivation, harvesting, and processing – capturing the richness and diversity of Sidaman lots in every cup. This naturally processed lot has delicious stone-fruit notes and a honeycomb richness. In the local Harrari language, ‘Testi’ means happiness – and we think this coffee lives up to its producer’s name!
