Description

NEW in Sep 2025 Bolivia Samaipata Floripondio (Bolivia Samaipata Floripondio ) The long-awaited Geisha variety from Bolivia has been added to our lineup. Following on from last year, this batch from Floripondio is from a relatively new farm located near Samaipata. Originally not a particularly well-known coffee producing region, the farm has been dedicated to cultivating specialty coffee. Owner Pedro Rodríguez Peñarrieta established the farm in 2014 and cultivates over 50 coffee varieties, identifying those best suited to the region's soil and climate. The farm's name, "Floripondio," comes from the floripondio tree that grows on the farm, and the gorgeous presence of this tree symbolizes the farm's individuality. This batch was processed using the traditional natural process: the cherries were first hand-sorted and then carefully dried at the right temperature and humidity, then mechanically dried for 15 days to maximize the flavor of the beans. This drink has a light and smooth texture like Oolong Tea and a refreshing sweetness reminiscent of orange. We invite you to experience this special flavor, born from the unique terroir of Santa Cruz. Bolivia is pleased to announce the long-awaited addition of the Geisha variety to its lineup.
