Kamagogo
Description
Beautiful fully Washed lot produced by the Kamagogo Coffee Factory. Clean and layered expression of red berries, citrus and rhubarb with juicy mouthfeel. Intense and juicy coffee with violet like floral aroma. Ever since the 1970's Kamagogo has been serving smallholder coffee growers in the area. As smallholder farming is very typical in Kenya, the quality of the production is very much the result of the careful cherry selection prior to processing and lot separation by picking date and quality post production at the Factory. Kamagogo is operated by the Kiru Farmers’ Cooperative Society, which overall serves about 3 500 farmers across the four coffee processing stations around Murang'a County. There are more than 1000 cooperative members at Kamagogo Factory area delivering cherries for processing. The coffee varieties grown by the members are the typical Kenyan varieties SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian. All our coffees are roasted for both filter and espresso.
