Description
Colombia, Quindio Varietal: Chiroso Process: Natural Altitude: 1,400 - 1,450 masl Tropical, Wild Strawberries, Dark Chocolate El Indio is a natural processed specialty coffee grown by around 175 farming families from associations like Asopep and Ascisp in Planadas, Tolima, one of Colombia’s most renowned coffee regions. Since 2019, farmers have received technical support to improve natural processing, and today many dedicate part of their harvest to this method, carefully drying beans on raised beds or patios until they reach ideal quality and moisture. Rooted in volcanic soil at altitudes of 1,500–2,150 meters, the coffee reflects the dedication of the community and their collective pursuit of excellence.
