Why we select The Lamastus family began cultivating coffee in 1918 in the Boquete region of Panama, near the Baru Volcano National Park. For over a century, four generations have been dedicated to coffee farming, making them one of Panama’s most renowned coffee-producing families. Elida Estate, one of the four farms they operate, has earned multiple awards at the Best of Panama and is celebrated as one of the finest producers of Geisha coffee in the world. The coffee we’re introducing today comes from the Torre lot, a DRD (Dark Room Drying) washed Geisha grown at an altitude of 1,850 meters in the Torre area. After the cherries are depulped, they are dried very slowly in a dark, climate-controlled room. This meticulous process brings out a remarkably clean and vibrant profile, highlighting delicate jasmine aromatics and a refreshing flavor reminiscent of peach iced tea.
